Work on the project has just come to an end: “Equipment and installations: fermentation section, mash section, stripping section and dried decoction production equipment” carried out within the framework of the Operation aimed at “Construction of a distillery and biomass boiler plant and acquisition of a technological line for the production of ethanol and drying of distillery decoction.”
The entire project includes the construction of 17 tanks.
- Fermentation equipment
- Fermentation tuns with a capacity of 515 m3 – 5 pcs.

The tank is used to store the yeast mash. The tank is made at the contractor’s plant and transported as a whole to the destination.
- Water tank with a capacity of 165 m3 – 1 pc.

- • Medium: group 2 fluids;

The tank is used to store water. The tank is fully assembled at the customer’s premises.
- Equipment for the stripper section
- Ethyl alcohol tanks with a capacity of 175 m3 – 4 pcs.

The tank is used to measure the volume and store ethyl alcohol The device is under control of the Technical Inspection Office, and also has the “type approval of Central Office of Measurements”.
The tank was transported in parts. The tank assembly, installation and foundation took place at the final destination.
- Equipment for the production of dried grains (DDGS)
- Grain tank with a capacity of 515 m3 – 1 pc.

Manufacturing directly at the customer’s site as well as assembly and foundation of such a large number of tanks is a difficult and complex process.
Intensive welding and assembly works were carried out in the facility from February 2019. At the same time, many preparatory works that could be performed took place at the headquarters of Hydro-Instal in Ostrołęka. It was only thanks to the efficient work of the team consisting of engineers/designers, welders, locksmiths, fitters and supply workers that everything was completed on time.
