The sanitary installations department can boast of another completed project It was the performance of works involving the reconstruction and modernization of the heat distribution centre with a total capacity of 5.5 MgW. Additionally, 4 emergency power supplies powered from a local oil boiler house were assembled. They are to ensure the correct temperature in the building in the event of failure of the main distribution centre. The works were commissioned by PKO BP SA in Warsaw.
As part of the order, technical rooms intended for the heat distribution centre were reconstructed. Sanitary and electrical installations were made and the distribution centre automation was integrated with the existing BMS system and modern control. Additionally, the following activities were performed as part of the task:
3 circuits of process heating, domestic hot water and central heating;
about a thousand meters of steel pipelines connected by welding;
about 20 were built in pumps;
10 heat exchangers were installed;
new floor drains with a sewage system were made;
dosing station and softener were built;
a cooling tank with a capacity of 2 m3 was constructed;
The fact that the works were carried out in a building that is used on a daily basis was a major obstacle. But we also handled with it. It was enough that the works that could be inconvenient for people working in the building were performed at night.
Everything is connected to the urban power network.
