LARGE-SIZE STORAGE TANKS BUILT AT THE CUSTOMER’S

It often happens that tanks, especially large-capacity storage tanks, cannot be transported to their destination due to their dimensions. Our company, however, does not avoid such orders. Hydro-Instal is able to build large-size tanks in the location indicated by the customer, almost anywhere in the world. And recently we had the opportunity to do so.

Well, near Nuremberg, they are building a factory for insulation systems made of wood fibre used for modern and ecological house construction. Our last “little one” was created just in this plant. The mentioned storage tank has a capacity of 320 m3. The height of the tank is 13m and its diameter is 6m. Therefore, there was no question of transporting the finished tank. It was only possible to build it at the customer’s site from previously prepared elements. But thanks to an efficient assembly team, the whole project went quickly and efficiently.

The tank with a capacity of 320 m3 was the largest of the tanks we made for this German investor, but not the only one. The entire project also included storage tanks with a capacity of 7.2 m3, 8.7 m3 and 80 m3, which were transported to the customer earlier. All storage tanks in this project are single-walled, non-pressure tanks. The tanks are equipped with all necessary connections and technological connectors. We made them of AISI 304 stainless steel.
