The next stainless steel tanks left the Hydro-Instal production plant. These were 8 single-walled process tanks with a capacity of 155 m3. We produced them at the request of the largest Polish meat producer, a leader in poultry production and a leading pig producer.
Stainless steel tanks are intended for the storage of poultry meal and feather meal, which are produced from recycled waste from the current production of the plant. The meal is then used in the production of food for pets (i.e. dogs and cats) and fur animals.
The process tanks are made of stainless steel. The elements that do not come into contact with the medium are made of S235JR carbon steel sheet protected against corrosion.
The tanks were delivered and mounted on a special load-bearing structure. All tanks are equipped with an inlet connector with a flange adapted to the hopper and a drainage connector with a flange adapted to the assembly of the loading chute.
In addition to the production of tanks, we also had the task of transporting and assembling them. It was a huge logistical challenge, as the diameter of each tank is almost 5m and the length is about 12m.
Fortunately, the process tanks were delivered efficiently and with the highest safety rules in mind. Their assembly also ran without any major surprises. Although we admit that the assembly of an eleven-meter tank through the roof of a hall with a height of 20 meters could have looked spectacular. As a manufacturer of stainless and stainless steel tanks with over 15 years of experience, we are prepared for every circumstance.
