The first 6 out of 16 stainless steel tanks left our company for the new plant producing plant extracts.
One of the investor’s requirements was the production of tanks with the use of circumferential welding and plasma-type longitudinal welding technology. As a manufacturer of stainless and stainless steel tanks with over 10 years of experience, we use both of these technologies in our production plant. Undoubtedly, it influenced the choice of our company as the Contractor for such a large investment.
The first series of tanks delivered to the customer included:
- The process tank, intended for mixing water/ethanol solution with a capacity of 10 m3, which is a vertical, single-walled tank. The elements of the mixer that come into contact with the medium are made of AISI 316Lstainless sheet, while the rest are made of AISI304 sheet. The mixer is equipped with a propeller stirrer with an ATEX gear motor.
- The process tank for mixing plant extract with a capacity of 10m3 is a vertical, double-walled tank. The elements of the mixer that come into contact with the medium are made of AISI 316Lstainless sheet, while the rest are made of AISI304 sheet. The mixer is equipped with a propeller stirrer with an ATEX gear motor.
- 6m3 stainless steel process tank for mixing plant extract. It is a vertical, double-walled tank. The elements of the mixer having contact with the medium are made of AISI 316L stainless steel sheet, while the rest are made of AISI 304 steel sheet. 304. The mixer is equipped with a frame stirrer with scrapers and an ATEX gear motor.
- 10m3 stainless steel storage tank for ethanol extract storage It is a vertical, single-walled, non-pressure tank equipped with the necessary technological and measuring connectors.
The tanks ordered from us are part of the installation and will be used for the production, mixing, buffering and storage of plant/herbal extracts used in nutraceutics.
Nutraceutics are foodstuffs that combine nutritional values with the characteristics of pharmaceuticals. Nutraceutics are used to supplement the diet with substances of natural origin that are normally found in food. Their main source are vegetables and fruits, but they can also include additional substances, health-promoting preparations and specific food products.
As part of the project, we still have 10 tanks to send.
