Another major task has come to an end. It was the modernization of infiltration intakes along with the accompanying infrastructure on the Vistula River. The modernization will improve the technical and hydraulic parameters of the intakes. Moreover, the modernization will also reduce the failure rate of the entire system.
For the purposes of the investment, we produced the following equipment:
DN2000 measuring chamber – 2 pcs.
DN2000 connection chamber – 2 pcs.
DN1000 communication shaft head – 4 pcs (right/left).
DN1200 technological shaft head – 2 pcs
Shut-off gate valve housings on inst. Ventilation DN1000- 2pcs.
DN1000 housings of valves for the discharge to the Vistula – 2 pcs
DN800 housing of the piezometer head – 2 pcs
Inspection shaft – 2 pcs
Additional technological equipment in the chambers and technological shaft
The scope of the order also included disassembly of the existing heads of communication, technological and pumping shafts, and then assembly of new heads of shafts.
The tanks and elements included in the order are made of S235JR carbon steel. All devices were equipped with all necessary technological connectors, ladders, handles, platforms, partitions etc.
Due to the specific assembly site, the surface of each element has been properly prepared. At the beginning, all devices were sandblasted and then covered with several layers of a special anti-corrosion coating. In addition, the welds of the devices were subjected to penetrant testing (PT), ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT) and visual testing (VT).
